What a real estate agent's website must show in Wyoming
Wyoming's advertising rule, §6-4 of the Real Estate Commission's rules, applies to all advertisements, digital or print. When a licensee or company advertises under a registered trade name, team name or group name, the ad must show the real estate company's name as licensed by the Commission alongside it, conspicuously, so the public can easily identify it. A licensee using their own name must use the legal name they are licensed under. Advertising another company's listings needs written permission.

Does a website count as advertising in Wyoming?
Yes. The rule covers all advertisements "displayed digitally or in print" in which a company or licensee is conducting real estate activity. 018-6 Wyo. Code R. §6-4
“in all advertisements, displayed digitally or in print, in which the company or licensee is conducting real estate activity”
What every advertisement must show
When advertising under a registered trade name, team name or group name: the real estate company's name as licensed by the Commission, displayed at the same time, conspicuously, so the public can easily identify it. 018-6 Wyo. Code R. §6-4
“the advertisement shall display the name of the real estate company as licensed by the Commission concurrently with the registered trade name, team name, or group name in a conspicuous manner that the general public may easily identify”
When you use your individual name: the legal name you are licensed under, as registered with and verified by the Commission. 018-6 Wyo. Code R. §6-4
Websites specifically
There is no website-specific rule beyond the rule's coverage of digital advertisements: a site that uses a team or trade name shows the licensed company name with it, conspicuously. 018-6 Wyo. Code R. §6-4
Team names
A group or team is one or more licensees representing the same real estate company. Wherever the team or group name appears, the company's licensed name must appear with it, conspicuously. The rule has no team-name word list. 018-6 Wyo. Code R. §6-4
What gets agents in trouble
Advertising under a trade, team or group name without the licensed company name shown with it. 018-6 Wyo. Code R. §6-4
Advertising and promoting another company's or responsible broker's listings without written permission. 018-6 Wyo. Code R. §6-1
Worth knowing
As written, §6-4 requires the company name only alongside a trade, team or group name; it does not spell out a company-name requirement for an ad that uses only your individual name. Check your responsible broker's policy. 018-6 Wyo. Code R. §6-4
§6-4 does not require a license number; it requires your licensed legal name and, with any trade, team or group name, the company's licensed name. 018-6 Wyo. Code R. §6-4
Every SiteCurb site has a broker-disclosure footer on every page, listings included: your name, your brokerage and your license number, plus a disclosure field for the text and links your state requires (Texas agents get a one-click helper for the two TREC links). Fill it in once and it is on every page.
How many agents this applies to
197 real estate agents were working in Wyoming when we last counted, across 3 brokerage offices. That is agents with a live profile on a brokerage's own site, not everyone holding a licence, so it is the population these rules actually bind day to day. The Wyoming brokerage directory breaks it down office by office. Counted 2026-10-07.
