Terms of service

The agreement

These terms are between you and SiteCurb. They apply when you create a SiteCurb account or use anything on sitecurb.com. If you use SiteCurb for a team or brokerage, you confirm you can agree to them for it. Our privacy policy explains what we do with personal information.

The service

SiteCurb lets real estate agents build and publish a website: templates, pages, listings they enter themselves, photos, a contact form, and an optional custom domain. SiteCurb is not an MLS or IDX service and doesn’t import MLS data.

Trial, price and cancelling

• You can build your site for free. Publishing it starts a subscription with a 14-day free trial.
• After the trial, the price is $39 a month, charged by Stripe until you cancel. If the price ever changes, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
• You can cancel any time from Dashboard → Plan. When the subscription ends, your site goes offline. Your content stays in your account, so publishing again brings it back.
• If a payment fails, your site stays live while Stripe retries the card. We don’t refund part months, but write to us if something went wrong and we’ll look at it.

Your content

• It’s yours. You own everything you put on your site: text, photos, listings, logo. You give us permission to host, copy and display it only so we can run your website.
• You’re responsible for it.Only publish what you have the right to publish, including listing photos and descriptions. You must follow the advertising and disclosure rules that apply to you: your licensing authority’s, your brokerage’s, and fair housing law. Every template includes a broker-disclosure area for this.
• Inquiries are yours too. Messages visitors send through your site belong to you. We deliver them to you and to the tools you connect, and to no one else. Use them lawfully, including anti-spam rules.

Acceptable use

Don’t use SiteCurb to:

• publish anything unlawful, deceptive or discriminatory;
• impersonate another agent or brokerage;
• list property you aren’t authorised to market;
• send spam;
• host malware;
• try to reach other agents’ accounts or data;
• overload the service or get around its limits.

We may take down content or suspend a site that breaks these rules. Where we can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

Custom domains

If you attach a domain, you stay its owner and registrant. We never register or hold agents’ domains in our own name. Keeping your domain renewed and its DNS pointing at SiteCurb is up to you.

Availability and changes

We work to keep every site fast and online, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. We improve SiteCurb all the time. If we ever remove something you rely on, we’ll tell you in advance.

Warranties and liability

SiteCurb is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost deals, commissions or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can end the agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Otherwise we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice, and time to take your content with you.

Changes to these terms

We’ll post changes here and update the date. If a change matters, we’ll email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use SiteCurb after that means you accept the new terms.
