Wix for realtors in 2026
Wix is the most-searched general builder among agents, and a fair choice if you enjoy building. Here is what it costs, what its real estate templates give you, and the one thing Wix itself says it cannot do, read on 6 September 2026.

Wix's plans page states: "Displayed prices are for yearly subscriptions, paid in full at the time of purchase." Month-to-month billing costs more. The free domain voucher applies to a new domain bought from Wix, not one you already own, and renews at Wix's domain price after the first year.
What the real estate templates give you
Wix lists more than a dozen real estate templates: agent, agency, property manager, and several landing pages. They are photo-gallery sites with lead forms. One template's own description says it best: "With a wealth of image galleries to promote your latest properties and separate pages for both sales and rentals, this template is almost ready to go." Listings are gallery items or dynamic pages you build and update yourself; there is no price, status or sold field unless you create the content collection for it.
The thing Wix cannot do
From Wix's own help center, as of 6 September 2026: "Currently, Wix does not support Internet Data Exchange (IDX) integration for real estate agents." The article points to two routes: the iHomefinder app in the App Market, or writing your own integration with Velo.
iHomefinder's Wix app is priced from $50 a month (Premium for Agents) to $450 a month (Max Pro), with a 30-day trial, and it carries a 2.5-star rating from 17 reviews on the App Market. So a Wix site with MLS search starts at roughly $67 a month on yearly billing and can pass $200. Whether you need MLS search at all is a separate question; see IDX explained.
Where the hours go
- Template surgery. Every Wix template ships with sample pages to delete, sample text to replace and sections that do not apply.
- Listings by hand. Each property is a gallery item or a dynamic page: upload photos, write the copy, set the layout, repeat when it sells.
- Compliance. Your state's advertising rules want your brokerage name, and in some states your license type or number, on every page. On Wix you add that to the footer yourself and keep it right on every template change. See the state-by-state rules.
- Speed. Page-builder sites carry weight. A fast site is possible on Wix; it is not the default.
Wix or SiteCurb
Choose Wix if you want a general website you fully design, a shop or booking system, and you have the hours. Choose SiteCurb if you want an agent site with a real listings model, your bio, a contact form that reaches your inbox and a state disclosure footer, at your own domain, for $39 a month with no design work. The prices are close; the time is not.

How much does a Wix real estate website cost?
On yearly billing: $17 a month (Light), $29 (Core), $39 (Business) or $159 (Business Elite), plus a free domain for the first year. That is $204 to $468 a year for the plans a solo agent would use. Add $50 to $450 a month if you want MLS search through the iHomefinder app.
Can I use Wix for free as a realtor?
You can build and publish for free, but the free site carries Wix branding and lives on a Wix subdomain (username.wixsite.com/sitename). Most state advertising rules and every client expect your own domain, so plan on at least the Light plan.
Does Wix have IDX or MLS listings?
No. Wix's own help center says it does not support IDX integration. The workaround is a third-party App Market app such as iHomefinder, from $50 a month on top of your Wix plan, or custom code through Velo.
Does Wix have real estate templates?
